HOW TO: NEW YEARS EVE IN STYLE pt 1

GLITTER, GLITTER, GLITTER.
How to add a bit of sparkle to your new years eve...

With Christmas what now seems like long gone, its only a few more days until we can warmly embrace the welcome of 2015. New years eve is fast approaching, and its only a matter of time before the fireworks are out and the new year begins. To ensure you're looking your best for the night, follow these tips which will see you being the best dressed at whatever event you're planning to attend. I will write about the items that are needed for your night out as new years eve approaches.

Part 1: FORGET THE REST, SKIRTS ARE THE NEW BIG THING.
Rather than rummaging through your wardrobe to pull out your favourite black dress, change it up this year. Don't wear the little black dress, but instead welcome the familiar skirt back into 2015. The statement skirt has been creeping its way into our lives again, and can now be seen in countless shops and splashed across magazines without a doubt. Using some of the hottest "of the moment" looks, I've pulled together a few of the high streets best skirts, worthy of a whirl this new years eve.
ZARA
Pleated skirt.
This one is sure to knock everyone else
out of the water...
a simple black long sleeved top
will allow for a sleek yet chic look.
Touch up your look with silvers
and a statement clutch to add dimension.
TOPSHOP
Textured lace Hem Skirt.
although not that sparkly...
Pair with a bralet or cropped lace top
and an over sized leather jacket.
Finish with gold accessories, smokey eye
and black strappy heels.

ASOS
Midi skirt with exposed elastic.

This skirt seems pretty simple,
but midi skirts aren't just for the day.
style this one with a long line coat,
stiletto heels and a messier hair look.
This skirt is different, but good
different.
