ALL WHITE. SOME GREEN.

Stan Smith's for the win...

Fresh out of the box, a new purchase; Adidas Stan Smiths. Seen making a comeback over the past few years the tennis shoe was first produced way back in the 60's. This all time classic is effortless when paired with cigarette trousers, an oversized long line coat and structured top. The minimalist shape and simple details allow for a chic look, with splashes of green accompanied by a brushed feel add to the shoes undeniable style. Available in women's and men's sizes this timeless classic is a must have and a long awaited purchase of mine.

"A heavy sole"-- The Brogue

Shoes have always been an important part of fashion, and even the just the way we as humans live. I have always led to believe that from a person's shoe you can almost know instinctively what type of person they are; and this season, all types heavy shoe and lace up brogues are back for good, along with the classic heel or two. So, I've gathered all of the current styles of shoe that are most definitely in trend and a must have for anyones shoe collection.

1. The 'manly' brogue
Traditionally the brogue has been solely for men, but in recent years this has taken a turn and overtime the chunkier yet oddly elegant shoe has made its way into the women's shoe scene. From simple blacks to deep mahoganies and even some blues, the brogue is effortless when worn with straight cut trousers and an  oversized coat, allowing for some attention to be drawn to the feet but not too much; bringing the outfit together as a whole. Try some of these below to dress up your regular daytime look.

HOW TO: NEW YEARS EVE IN STYLE pt 1

GLITTER, GLITTER, GLITTER.
How to add a bit of sparkle to your new years eve...

With Christmas what now seems like long gone, its only a few more days until we can warmly embrace the welcome of 2015. New years eve is fast approaching, and its only a matter of time before the fireworks are out and the new year begins. To ensure you're looking your best for the night, follow these tips which will see you being the best dressed at whatever event you're planning to attend. I will write about the items that are needed for your night out as new years eve approaches.

Part 1: FORGET THE REST, SKIRTS ARE THE NEW BIG THING.
Rather than rummaging through your wardrobe to pull out your favourite black dress, change it up this year. Don't wear the little black dress, but instead welcome the familiar skirt back into 2015. The statement skirt has been creeping its way into our lives again, and can now be seen in countless shops and splashed across magazines without a doubt. Using some of the hottest "of the moment" looks, I've pulled together a few of the high streets best skirts, worthy of a whirl this new years eve.
